A Trip to Supercuts

We decided it was time to make our little boy LOOK like a little boy. So, we got him his FIRST haircut. I'll miss those long, wavy curls.

BEFORE...
We came into the Salon and told them we were cutting Samuel's hair for the very first time. We asked if they cut little kids hair. She asked, "Does she sit still?" (I had to correct them and tell them that SHE was actually a HE). Um...how am I supposed to know if he would sit still? We have never got his hair cut before. She was a little uncomfortable with the idea but told us if he could sit still then she could try (Is she really asking a 17 month old to sit still? Has she had kids before?).

DURING...
But, as always, Samuel proved to be VERY good. He couldn't have been a better 17 month old client for our stylist. It is times like these that I am reminded what a good child I've been blessed with.

AFTER
No more long curls in the back. :( Nonetheless, doesn't he look handsome!

He's trying to get some hair out of his mouth.

When we arrived home, we put him in front of our hall mirror and he realized that his hair was different. He got all giddy and started to giggle and laugh and run around in circles, returning to the mirror to check out his short hair again and again. I think he likes looking like a boy. :)
